SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – A woman was robbed while withdrawing money from an ATM at the Laurel Village Shopping Center in San Francisco on Tuesday evening, police said.

The robbery was reported at 7:45 p.m. near the intersection of California and Laurel streets.

The 27-year-old victim was at the ATM when a suspect grabbed her from behind and took her cash out of the machine, according to police.

The suspect then pushed the woman to the ground, took her purse and ran to a waiting dark-colored sedan driven by another suspect, police said.

The victim was not injured in the robbery.

Anyone with information about the case was encouraged to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
