Man, Woman Found Shot Dead In San Jose Home

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A man and woman were found shot dead in their San Jose home early Monday morning in an apparent double homicide, a police sergeant said.

About 4:20 a.m., police responded to reports of shots fired at a home in the 300 block of North Seventh Street near downtown, Sgt. Jason Dwyer said.

Arriving officers searched the home and found the two victims, he said. The case was being investigated as a double murder.

KCBS' Mike Colgan Reports:

Police did not have a suspect description and were combing the area for the shooter, who should be considered armed and dangerous, Dwyer said.

Investigators had cordoned off streets in the neighborhood, but expected to reopen them later Monday morning, Dwyer said.
