OAKLAND (CBS SF) — A man killed in East Oakland Friday night has been identified by the Alameda County coroner’s bureau as Rafael Garcia.

Garcia, 41, whose location of residence wasn’t immediately available, was shot and killed in the 3100 block of 13th Avenue at about 7:20 p.m., police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An armed suspect fled the scene on foot. Police are still investigating.
