4 Juveniles Arrested In Oakland Burglaries

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Four juvenile suspects were arrested and two suspects remained at large in connection with an armed residential robbery in Oakland on Sunday, police said.

A citizen observed six people entering a home in the 3000 block of Broadmoor View and reported the residential robbery to police while it was in progress.

Oakland police responded at 11:17 a.m. and as officers arrived, four of the six suspects fled the home.

Police set up a perimeter and all four juvenile suspects, from Oakland, were apprehended. The detained suspects were three boys and one girl.

The homeowner explained to Oakland police officers that he was confronted by one of the suspects who was armed with a gun, while the other suspects searched the residence.

Two suspects were still outstanding and the robbery remains under investigation, police said.
