Homicide Charge In Honolulu Jet Ski Crash That Killed Vacaville Teen

HONOLULU (CBS/AP) -- A 20-year-old Australian man has been charged with negligent homicide in the Hawaii personal watercraft crash that killed a Vacaville teen.

Tyson Dagley of Brunswick West is scheduled to appear in court in Honolulu Friday.

He's being held on $100,000 bail and couldn't be reached for comment.

Kristen Fonseca was riding a personal watercraft at Keehi Small Boat Harbor on Sunday when another rider crashed into her. The 16-year-old from Vacaville died Monday. Her stepfather says he watched the 20-year-old rider ram into her from behind.

Stepfather Mario Canton said there should be tougher regulations for personal watercraft.

State officials were also investigating.
