San Jose Teen Shot; No Arrests

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Police were searching for a suspect and investigating the motive for a shooting that occurred in San Jose Thursday night.

San Jose police responded to a report of a shooting around 9:35 p.m. and found a teenage boy suffering from at least one gunshot wound in the 600 block of Sanders Avenue.

The victim was taken to a hospital and treated for potentially life-threatening injuries, police said.

The suspect fled the scene before police arrived and remains at large.

The circumstances and motive surrounding the shooting remained under investigation, police said.
