3 Pistol-Whipped During Oakland Robbery; No Arrests

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Three people were injured when they were pistol-whipped in an armed robbery in East Oakland Sunday night, a police officer said.

The assault and robbery were reported just after 9:30 p.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of East 16th Street, Officer J. Moore said.

The three victims each suffered minor injuries when the armed suspects pistol-whipped them, Moore said.

The three suspects in the robbery, two of whom toted guns, fled the scene in a vehicle.

No arrests had been made in connection with the incident.
