SF Artist Creates Obama, Romney Portraits Out Of Beef Jerky

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - A San Francisco artist has created portraits of presumptive presidential nominee Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama out of beef jerky as part of a promotional campaign for a snack-maker.

Jack Link's Jerky commissioned "Barack Obameat" and "Meat Romney" mosaics as part of a campaign dubbed "Vote for your Favorite Meathead."

The artwork was created by San Francisco muralist Jason Mecier, who is known for capturing the likenesses of pop culture stars such as Taylor Swift, Martha Stewart and Lady Gaga using common personal items.

On their website, Jack Links includes videos showing the creation of the candidate murals and offers the chance to win prizes for voting for your favorite.
