Man Stabbed, Tased In San Francisco Street Melee Over Meth Deal

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A man was stunned with a Taser gun and stabbed in the arm on San Francisco's Sixth Street early Tuesday morning during a fight over the quality of the methamphetamine he purchased, police said.

The stabbing was reported shortly after midnight in the first block of Sixth Street.

The victim, a man in his early 50s, had purchased the drug from the suspect, then later confronted him after being unsatisfied with it, according to police.

The argument turned physical and the suspect used a Taser on the victim and stabbed him in the arm, police said.

The victim fled the scene and eventually notified police. The suspect, described as a man in his 40s, has not been found.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Police Department's anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
