San Mateo Police Arrest SF Man For Kidnapping Schoolgirl

SAN MATEO (CBS/AP) — Police in San Mateo have arrested a San Francisco man on suspicion of kidnapping and assaulting a 9-year-old girl before she escaped.

The San Mateo County Times reports Sunday that 25-year-old Bradley Mrozek was taken into custody Saturday.

The girl reported that a stranger tried to abduct her outside Parkside Elementary School on Friday, but she was able to kick the man and run back to the school.

Mrozek was booked into jail for investigation of kidnapping with intent to commit a sexual assault, assault with intent to commit a sex crime on a minor, and lewd and lascivious acts with a minor.
