SAN LEANDRO (CBS/AP) — A 38-year-old Newark man is in custody after police say he used an ice pick to stab and wound another man.

The Contra Costa Times reports that officers arrested Michael Hilburn after the stabbing in a San Leandro apartment and a short pursuit that ended a little after 1 a.m. Sunday.

Police say the 57-year-old man who was stabbed was stabbed several times but his wounds were not considered life-threatening.

The name of the wounded man has not been released.
