Bodysurfer Rescued From Water Off SF's Ocean Beach

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Authorities rescued a bodysurfer off of San Francisco's Ocean Beach Monday morning, a fire department spokeswoman said.

The fire department received a report at 10:21 a.m. that the bodysurfer was stranded near Seal Rock on the northern end of Ocean Beach, fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.

Crews from the city's police and fire departments and the U.S. Coast Guard responded, and a police boat safely rescued the bodysurfer at 10:32 a.m., Talmadge said.
