3.3 Earthquake Rattles Fairfield Area

FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) – A small earthquake shook an area of Solano County Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The magnitude 3.3 earthquake hit a few minutes after 9 a.m. about two miles southwest of Green Valley and some 7 miles west-southwest of Fairfield, the USGS said.

The earthquake was originally reported by the USGS as a 3.2 magnitude.

There was no damage or injuries reported.
