Man Exposes Self To 3 In Watsonville

WATSONVILLE (CBS SF) -- A man exposed himself to a group of three females Saturday afternoon and followed them until they fled into a home, Watsonville police said Sunday.

The victims, one adult woman and two juvenile girls, were walking near Oliveira Loop and Chappell Road in Watsonville around 3 p.m. Saturday when they were approached by a white man in a black Toyota sedan, according to Sgt. Morgan Chappell.

The man pulled over near the victims and began masturbating in full view, Chappell said. The victims fled the area, but the suspect followed them and approached them a second time.

Only when the victims ran into a home in the area did the suspect flee the scene in his vehicle, Chappell said.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, with blonde or light brown hair and a beard. He is described as chubby.

The vehicle was described as a 2008 black Toyota Camry or Corolla four-door. The Toyota emblem was gold metal in color, and it had a California license plate that may have started with "5K."

At least one other similar incident was reported in Santa Cruz County on the same date, with a suspect that fits the same description, Chappell said.

Anyone with information on this case or this suspect is asked to call Watsonville police at (831) 728-3544 or (831) 768-3352.
