OAKLAND (CBS SF) — Two people were injured in separate shootings in Oakland overnight, a police officer said.

Around 11:05 p.m., a man in the 2000 block of Church Street was struck by gunfire, Officer J. Moore said.

He was taken to a local hospital to be treated for a single gunshot wound and was in stable condition, Moore said.

No suspect information in connection with the shooting was available as of 2:30 a.m.

A second shooting was reported at 12:42 a.m. near the intersection of Shattuck and Alcatraz avenues, Officer Kevin McDonald said.

The victim went to an area hospital in stable condition to be treated for a gunshot wound.
