2-Alarm Fire Displaces 3 In San Jose
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A two-alarm apartment fire displaced three residents in San Jose Monday afternoon, a fire captain said.
Firefighters received multiple reports of a fire on the second floor of an apartment building at 1298 Tripp Ave. at 2:54 p.m. Crews arrived at the scene just before 3 p.m., San Jose fire Capt. Mary Gutierrez said.
Three residents of one unit were displaced and the Red Cross provided assistance. The fire caused minor damage to two additional units, Gutierrez said.
The fire was under control at 3:25 p.m. and no injuries were reported, Gutierrez said.
