1 Dead, 3 Others Hurt In San Jose Shootings

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) — One man is dead and three others are
wounded after separate shootings in San Jose early Sunday.

San Jose police say in the fatal shooting officers found the man, whose name has not been released, suffering from at least one gunshot wound after getting called to intersection of Locust and Humboldt streets a little before 3 a.m. Sunday.

The man died after being taken to a hospital. He is San Jose’s 39th homicide victim of the year.

Police say in a separate shooting, one person was left with wounds that were not considered life-threatening after getting hit by gunfire around 1 a.m.

Another person was shot around 2:15 a.m. The fourth shooting took place around 3 a.m. when a man was hit by gunfire.

Police did not release details of the other shootings.
