Sonoma Man Arrested After Petaluma Pizza Parlor Fight Leaves Several Injured

PETALUMA (CBS SF) -- A 25-year-old Sonoma man was arrested for assault and other offenses after a brawl erupted in a Petaluma pizza restaurant early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a reported dispute that broke out between one man and several patrons at New Yorker Pizza and Restaurant at about 1 a.m., according to Petaluma police.

Uriel Caballero-Ramos allegedly punched several customers during the dispute, causing injuries that included an orbital fracture, a dislocated shoulder and minor facial injuries, police said.

Some victims were treated at the scene and others were transported to Petaluma Valley Hospital.

Caballero-Ramos allegedly fled the scene on foot when police arrived, but was quickly apprehended on Kentucky Street and taken into custody.

He was booked into Sonoma County jail.
