The fire at a single-family home in the 1400 block of Alabama Street was reported to fire officials at 8:33 p.m., according to Vallejo police Sergeant Kevin Hamrick.

Hamrick said that no residents were home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.

At least half the house was destroyed in the fire, Hamrick said.
