SAN JOSE (CBS SF) – All lanes of northbound Interstate Highway 280 were open Thursday evening after an overturned cement truck blocked three lanes for more than an hour and a half in San Jose a California Highway Patrol spokesman said.

The cement truck collided with a dump truck on northbound Highway 280 near the Lawrence Expressway off-ramp at about 1:25 p.m., Officer James Evans said.

A Sig-alert was issued at 1:37 p.m. and was lifted at 3:11 p.m., Evans said. At the time of the alert, the truck was blocking the right three lanes.

San Jose fire crews were called to the scene to assist in the cleanup of diesel fuel that spilled onto the roadway during the crash, Evans said.

Evans said it was unclear which truck spilled the fuel.

No injuries were reported.
