CUPERTINO – Thanks to Siri, Cupertino-based Apple’s latest iPad will go on sale in China Wednesday. The IPhone5 will follow suit a week later.
Sales of the iPhone 4S in China were relatively slow because until this year the new voice feature, Siri, did not understand Mandarin Chinese.
Thanks to a software update, Siri can finally communicate with Chinese consumers.
Market analysts say China is Apple’s largest and fastest growing market.
