Standoff At Sacramento Jack In The Box

SACRAMENTO (CBS/AP) — A hostage standoff that began as an armed robbery at a Sacramento fast food restaurant has ended.

Police surrounded the Jack in the Box after an armed man took two women hostage.

One of the two women was able to walk out of the restaurant about two hours after the standoff began.

Some nearby businesses were evacuated, while some others were on lock down.

The standoff ended when police shot the suspect. He was taken to a nearby hospital. No one else was hurt.
