Study Finds Many Bay Area Companies Among 'Best Places To Work'
MENLO PARK (CBS SF) - When it comes to great places to work, the Bay Area has plenty to choose from. This year's glassdoor rankings put 10 Bay Area companies among the top employers.
The rankings are based entirely on anonymous employee reviews which solicit feedback on "career opportunities, compensation & benefits, work/life balance, senior leadership and more."
Menlo Park's Facebook earned the highest average ranking in the survey, with 4.7 out of 5 reported on average from employees.
San Francisco IT firm Riverbed Technology soared to number three on the list, followed by Google at sixth.
Also selected in the top 50 were Chevron (13), LinkedIn (14), Workday (19), Salesforce (22), Agilent Technologies (30), Intel (31) and Apple (34).
