SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — Bay Area Rapid Transit riders can expect to see more police officers in stations, and on trains starting Thursday.
BART is adding police patrols at stations in downtown San Francisco to provide protection for holiday shoppers.
The transit agency will also be getting help from Oakland officers, who will provide escorts for passengers parked at the West Oakland station.
