Fresno Man Sets Young Son's Mother On Fire
FRESNO (CBS/AP) -- A Fresno man splashed gasoline on the mother of his toddler son and set the woman on fire, according to investigators.
The 21-year-old man was in a car with the woman and the couple's 2-year-old boy on Sunday afternoon when he became emotional while discussing their relationship.
Fresno police say the man splashed gasoline on the woman and set her ablaze.
Sgt. Steve Crawford says the car was on fire and the woman was rolling on the ground to put out the flames when officers arrived. The woman was taken to a hospital with minor burns.
The little boy is OK.
His father, whose name hasn't been released, has been arrested for investigation of attempted murder and domestic violence.
