Water Main Break Blocks Traffic In Mill Valley

MILL VALLEY (CBS SF) -- Firefighters and Marin Municipal Water District crews were at the scene of a water main break in Mill Valley.

The break occurred outside of 235 Marin Ave. between Bell Lane and Flamingo Road, a water district dispatcher said.

A resident said the street was still blocked off to traffic as of 12:15 p.m. but that it seemed crews were finishing the job.

The neighbor also said she had not been told to leave her home.

The Southern Marin Fire Protection District had also responded to the scene.
