4 Salinas Teens Arrested For Vandalizing Vacant House, Assaulting Officer

SALINAS (CBS SF) -- Four teenagers were found vandalizing a vacant Salinas house on Thursday evening, police said.

The group of four 15-year-olds had trespassed into a home in the 500 block of St. George Drive around 6:55 p.m., police said.

The juveniles were found on the property drinking and vandalizing the inside of the residence.

Gang-related graffiti was found tagged inside the home, police said.

Officers arrested the group on suspicion of trespassing, vandalism and gang charges when one of the teens kicked an officer, police said.

The teen that kicked the officer was also arrested for battery on an officer.

All four were taken to juvenile hall, police said.
