Topless Woman Shoved Into Car In Livermore

LIVERMORE (CBS SF) - Livermore police were looking for a man who shoved a bare-chested woman into his vehicle on Monday morning.

Authorities responded to a call at 11:20 a.m. Monday from a resident whose home overlooks North Vasco Road near Scenic Avenue.

The witness told authorities that the man shoved the topless woman into his vehicle and drove away north on North Vasco Road.

Police were unable to locate the suspect vehicle, described as a four-door, maroon "import-type" car with gold badges on the rear, Sgt. John Hurd said.

Hurd said the suspect is described as a white man between 30 and 40 years old with brown hair and a medium build. He was wearing a dark-colored shirt at the time of the incident.

The woman was described as being white, between 18 and 25 years old and having blond hair, Hurd said.

Officers collected items left on the roadway that could be used as evidence but do not know what, if any, crime occurred, Hurd said.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has more information is asked to call the Livermore Police Department at (925) 371-4900.
