Manhunt For Attempted Robbery Suspect In Pinole
PINOLE (CBS SF) -- Police in Pinole are searching for a man who attempted to rob a bank Friday afternoon.
Officers responded to a report of an attempted robbery at Bank of America, at 1221 Tara Hills Drive, at about 3:40 p.m., police said.
The suspect entered the bank and passed a note to a teller demanding cash, according to police.
When the teller did not comply with the demand, the suspect fled on foot, police said.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 40s or 50s, standing about 6 feet 3 inches to 6 feet 5 inches, with a thin build and short hair.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket and diamond shaped patterned tan pants, a dark collared shirt and black dress shoes, according to police.
