Guns, Jewels Stolen From Officers’ Homes During Brentwood Break-Ins

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS/AP) – Police in the city of Brentwood are investigating a string of recent home burglaries in which thieves made off with jewelry and guns, some of them belonging to law enforcement officers.

Brentwood police think the officers’ homes were targeted in the burglaries over the last few weeks, although other residents also had electronics, jewelry and firearms stolen.

No one was home when the break-ins happened. The the police department is working with other agencies, but providing few details about the thefts.
