Hillsborough Police Ask Public For Leads In Valentine's Day Burglaries

HILLSBOROUGH (CBS SF) -- Police in Hillsborough are asking residents two be vigilant after two separate burglaries were reported in the city on Valentines Day.

The first burglary took place between 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. in the 6200 block of Skyline Boulevard, according to police.

A suspect or suspects forced entry into the home through the front door, police said.

A second burglary occurred some time between 9:10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Tournament Drive, where a burglar came in through an unlocked window, police said.

Anyone who might have witnessed anything suspicious in the area on Valentine's Day is asked to contact Hillsborough police at (650) 375-7470.

Any residents who wish to report potentially suspicious vehicles or people should call 911.
