'Django' Star, Samuel L. Jackson Talks To Liam Mayclem
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Once again, Director Quentin Tarantino delivers another multifaceted work of cinema indulgence in "Django Unchained." Tarantino melds together in what essentially is a love story, the cruel topic of racism and slavery while holding it all together through humor.
One early morning, Liam Mayclem screened the film and sat down with one of the stars, Samuel L. Jackson for quick chat about taking on the "rich" role of Stephen, Calvin Candie's (Leonardo DiCaprio) head house slave.
This Sunday, "Django" is up for 5 Academy Award nods including "Best Cinematography," a "Best Supporting Actor" nomination for Christoph Waltz and "Best Picture."
