Fresno Gang Members Arrested, 'Weapons Warehouse' Shut Down
FRESNO (CBS/AP) -- Police have arrested a member of Fresno's notorious Bulldog gang from a house that they say served as a weapons warehouse for other gang members.
Lt. Mark Salazar said Sunday that the house was used to check weapons in and out to other gang members.
The Fresno Bee reports detectives found six rifles, two handguns, one shotgun, nine knives and machete, tactical vests, nearly 1,000 rounds of ammunition and numerous accessories including magazines and scopes.
Salazar said a 28-year-old gang member, whose name was not released, had a loaded gun in his waistband when he was arrested.
He said bags of crystal methamphetamine and marijuana were also found in the house.
