Off Duty CHP Officer Killed In Accident While Working On Car

PARKFIELD, Monterey County (CBS SF) — The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office was investigating the death of an off-duty California Highway Patrol Officer.

CHP Officer Bryan Wright, 41, of Parkfield, was working on a car at his home when an accident occurred and he was killed, sheriff’s officials said Thurssday.

Additional details about the case were not immediately available, but the death has been deemed accidental.
