'The Call' Reunite With BRMC's Robert Been

(CBS SF/LIVE 105) - 80's Modern Rock band The Call reunited for one of two shows on April 18th at Slim's nightclub in San Francisco and delivered a powerful set of most of their early LIVE 105 hits. The band, fronted by BRMC's Robert Levon Been, son of the late Michael Been, also featured original members Tom Ferrier, Scott Musick and Jim Goodwin. Robert studied well under his dad's care and, according to LIVE 105's Surfer Spud, sang the band's songs with as much emotion and conviction as his dad. He also played his dad's bass guitar and told a story of how the guitar had been stolen a few years ago but recovered thanks to a Call fan who saw it in a Bay Area pawnshop.

The Call's setlist included Let The Day Begin, The Walls Came Down, Everywhere I Go, I Still Believe (Great Design), I Don't Wanna, Turn A Blind Eye, Modern Romans and a gripping finale of Uncovered. Listen for The Call on Masters In The Morning on LIVE 105.
