Oakland Woman Critically Injured In Early Morning Shooting

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A woman was critically injured in a shooting in Oakland early Saturday morning, a police officer said.

The shooting was reported in the 2300 block of 21st Avenue around 1:30 a.m., Oakland police Officer J. Moore said.

Moore said there were two victims in the shooting, but only one, a woman, was struck by the gunfire.

The woman was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound and was in critical condition early this morning, the officer said.

No suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting.
