Woman Allegedly Threatened At Knifepoint In Novato Home

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Novato police arrested a man Sunday morning after he allegedly forced his way into a home and threatened a woman, violating a restraining order.

Officers were called to the home in the 1000 block of Seventh Street around 9:10 a.m. after the victim, a 39-year-old woman, reported that Emmanuel Krawler had forced his way in and threatened her, according to police.

The victim told officers that Krawler had also entered the home on Friday, threatened her with a knife, attempted to stab her and prevented her from leaving the house.

Krawler, a 25-year-old Santa Venetia, Calif. resident, had fled the area before police arrived on the scene. He was located near Olive Avenue and Redwood Boulevard and arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats, burglary, false imprisonment, parole violation and possession of a deadly weapon.
