1 Dead, 1 Hurt After Pickup Truck Crashes Into Tree In Santa Rosa
SANTA ROSA (CBS SF) -- One person died and a Rohnert Park man was injured when a pickup truck crashed into a tree early Saturday morning in Santa Rosa, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At about 2:50 a.m., a 1999 red Dodge Ram was traveling west on Bennett Valley road when it left the north side of the roadway, then it turned and crossed all lanes before leaving the south side of the road, the CHP said.
One victim was pronounced dead at the crash site.
Police believe alcohol was a contributing factor.
