SAN FRANCISCO (CBS/AP) — Four people have been rescued after their boat caught on fire in San Francisco Bay Saturday morning.

Officials say the four were fishing from the boat near Candlestick Point when an engine leak stared a fire on the boat just before 10 a.m.

San Francisco Officer Carlos Manfredi, a police spokesman, says the four people on board were rescued by a San Francisco police boat and taken to nearby Oyster Point Marina.

One person was taken to a hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation. The three others were not hurt.No additional details, such as the ages or genders of the four people, were immediately released.

A San Francisco Fire Department boat also responded to put out the fire, while the U.S. Coast Guard responded and was standing by.
