Man Cleaning Grafitti On I-80 In Sacramento Dies From Fall

SACRAMENTO (CBS/AP) — Authorities say a man who was trying to clean graffiti off of a sign on a freeway overpass in Sacramento has died in a fall.

The man died after falling into traffic on Interstate 80 around 5:30 a.m. Saturday. After the incident, the California Highway Patrol shut down all westbound lanes of the freeway, causing traffic to back up in the area. The CHP later opened at least one of the lanes.

No additional details have been released.
