Police Release Sketch Of Man Who Tried To Kidnap Pittsburg Toddler
PITTSBURG (CBS) -- Authorities have released a sketch of the man they believe tried to kidnap a 2-year-old girl in Pittsburg, Friday afternoon.
The toddler was with her mother in the front yard of their home in the 300 block of Snow Flake Way at 1:45 p.m. when the man picked up the girl and started running, police said. He dropped her in some nearby bushes after the mother yelled at him.
Police said the girl was unharmed, but traumatized.
Saturday, investigators were still going door-to-door interviewing neighbors and business owners. They believed the suspect was still in the area.
The man police were looking for is described as a clean shaven white male in his 30s with collar length dirty blond hair. He was wearing a green shirt and blue jeans.
