Police Seek Woman Who Stabbed Roommate In SF Visitacion Valley

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Police are searching for a woman who stabbed her roommate Sunday morning in San Francisco's Visitacion Valley District, police said.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the first block of Towerside Avenue at about 4:15 a.m., according to police.

When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from a stab wound, police said.

She was transported to a hospital to be treated for her injuries, and is expected to survive, according to police.

The suspect, a woman and the victim's roommate, fled the scene and remains at large this morning, police said.
