Threatening Call Forces Evacuation Of Mt. Diablo High School

CONCORD (CBS SF) – Students at Mt. Diablo High School in Concord were evacuated Thursday because of a possible threat, according to Mt. Diablo Unified School District personnel.

Concord police were dispatched to the school, located at 2450 Grant St., around 10:30 a.m., a police dispatcher said.

District personnel said the students were directed to the football field after a threat was called in.

Both the dispatcher and school district personnel declined to specify what type of threat was received, but said updates would be available later Thursday.
