Fremont Teen Missing For Almost A Week, May Be With 30-Year-Old Man

FREMONT (CBS SF) -- A 15-year-old girl has gone missing from her uncle's Fremont home since last weekend and may be anywhere in the Bay Area traveling with a 30-year-old man in a stolen pickup, police said.

Margarita Nunez Chavez was discovered missing from her uncle's home in the Irvington area of Fremont on Sunday, after they last saw her around 10 p.m. Saturday.

She may be with Ryan Griggs, 30, and driving in a stolen white Ford F150 pickup truck with a white camper shell and raised suspension with a license plate number 6E82209.

Police do not believe she was abducted.

Chavez is described as Hispanic, 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 90 pounds with long brown hair and brown eyes.

Griggs is described as a white man, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who sees Chavez has been asked to call Fremont police at (510) 790-6880 Ext. 3.
