Owner Of Party Bus Involved In Los Gatos Fatal Fall Indicted

LOS GATOS (CBS / AP) -- Santa Clara County prosecutors say a party bus owner has been arrested in the death of a Santa Cruz County woman who was run over by the bus after she fell out of it.

Jon Reno St. James was taken into custody Wednesday near his home in Yucca Valley and charged with vehicular manslaughter and involuntary manslaughter after being indicted by a grand jury on May 3.

The 56-year-old St. James, the owner of the "Party Bus of Santa Cruz," is accused of gross negligence and putting his passengers in danger.

Authorities say 25-year-old Natasha Noland of Felton died in July when she was run over by a bus St. James owns after falling out of it during a fight with another passenger while on Highway 17 near Los Gatos.

The bus was taking people home from a concert in Mountain View.
