Bicyclist Injured In Crash With School Bus In San Jose

SAN JOSE (KCBS) – A bicyclist was injured during a collision Friday with a school bus near the Saratoga Plaza Shopping Center, authorities said.

The cyclist, described as an elderly man, suffered a broken leg as a result of the collision with a small, 10-passenger school bus at the corner of DeAnza Boulevard and Prospect Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP is the agency which responds to and investigates school bus crashes.

None of the children aboard the bus was hurt in the crash, according to the CHP.
