House Fire Displaces 5 People In San Jose

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) — Five people were displaced in a structure fire Saturday morning in San Jose, fire officials said.

Crews responded to a report of a fire at a structure on Timberview Court at about 4:30 a.m., according to fire officials.

The fire was deemed under control at about 5:40 a.m., officials said.

The fire started in the garage where the family was storing items for their upcoming move.

Five people – four adults and one juvenile – were displaced, according to officials.

One person was treated for minor injuries at the scene, but no one was transported to a hospital.

Officials say the house was up for sale for $1.5 million.
