Palo Alto Police Searching For Missing Elderly Woman With Alzheimer's

PALO ALTO (CBS SF) -- Palo Alto police are searching for an elderly woman with Alzheimer's diseases who walked away from her assisted living facility Saturday morning.

Naomi Brown left Lytton Gardens on the 600 block of University Avenue around 10:45 a.m., according to police.

Brown, 85, is a white female who was last seen wearing a white jacket with designs on the front and back, dark pants and a large-brimmed blue hat with silk flowers around the brim, police said.

Brown uses a walker that has a green patterned bag attached to it. She has Alzheimer's and dementia, but will answer to her name.

Anyone who sees Brown should keep her under observation and call 911 immediately.
