Coroner IDs 94-Year-Old Woman Found Dead In San Francisco Bay
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- An elderly woman who was found dead in the Bay near San Francisco's Pier 2 on Wednesday has been identified by the medical examiner's office as 94-year-old Lai Ying Tam .
Firefighters were called to Pier 2 near Sinbad's Restaurant at about 11 a.m., fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.
The woman's body was picked up by a Police Department marine unit, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.
The cause of her death has not yet been determined, authorities said.
