Search For Suspect Who Robbed Bank Inside Oakley Supermarket

OAKLEY (CBS SF) Police were attempting to locate a man who robbed a Bank of America branch inside a Lucky’s supermarket in Oakley on Wednesday.

Officers were dispatched to a report of a robbery at the small bank branch inside the grocery store at 2545 Main St. around 2:55 p.m., police Chief Bani Kollo said.

A short time earlier, a man had entered the store and robbed it “via threat of a weapon,” the chief said. He made off with an unknown amount of cash and has not been located.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call Oakley police at (925) 625-8855.
